Summary: Wholesale marketing coordinators will support all of BEDGEAR’s B2B business and trade marketing efforts. Key accountabilities for this position will be working in collaboration with sales and creative to deliver content-rich assets (print and digital) showcasing products, services, and promotional opportunities established by the company. Additionally, marketing coordinators will support all brick-and-mortar initiatives at our retail partner locations including installations of BEDGEAR shops / re-vamps of the in-store experience.
Essential Functions (include but not limited to):
- Participates in cross-functional product launch meetings and owns the asset strategy and project management of deliverables
o Includes sales enablement assets (sell sheets, videos, presentations decks, landing pages, promo assets, photography, etc)
§ Works in partnership with creative to develop templates for easily replicable assets with minor personalization (retailer specific)
o Works closely with sales to identity retailer specific collateral opportunities
o Works in partnership with content strategist to identify various types of copy necessary for various retailer channels (i.e. in-store v. online)
- Manages digital asset management (DAM) platform (Brandfolder)
o Maintains up-to-date assets in organized fashion; adds/deletes as necessary
o Trains sales team on platform and sharing functionality
- Develops retail promotional calendar in partnership with sales and director of marketing; project manages the execution of all required assets
- Partner with the Communications team for press releases, LinkedIn posts, and blog posts on product launches and trade stories (e.g. new product/fixture rollouts at major retailers, onboarding of new major accounts, international sales growth, etc)
- At request and approval of sales, may assist or act as back up to project manager for installations with BEDGEAR shops and/or fixtures requiring on-site set up/break down.
o Includes racks, pillow walls, tech carts, etc
o Requires cross-functional collaboration with product development, F&P, and sales to set allocation strategy and timelines
o Manages installation calendar; communicates with retailer and rep(s) to keep all stakeholders aware of ongoing projects/updates
o Sources and manages 3rd party service vendors
§ Partners with accounting on vendor set up
§ Generates POs
§ Approves vendor bills
o Manages the servicing of any fixtures (including tech-enabled)
o May on occasion require on-site support for large installs (including @ BEDGEAR showrooms)
o Maintains active lists of retailer locations used for “store locator”
o Clerical and administrative duties related to essentials functions of job
o Assists with other duties and projects as requested by management
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- HS Diploma or GED and College degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
- English proficient (reading, writing, speaking/listening, comprehension)
- Must be willing and able to travel as needed for PR/Marketing events
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook proficiency
Education/Experience/License Requirements:
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience with diverse marketing responsibilities, including familiarity with product launches, competitive research/analysis, sales enablement tools, public relations, branding, trade shows, online/offline advertising, content strategy, etc.
- Experience managing external vendors is a plus
- Experience working with all internal stakeholders, seniority levels and departments
Sensory Requirements: With or without use of corrective lenses or any other visual aid, must be near and far-sighted to be able to inspect and review visual materials in print and digital. Must have full color vision. Will be required to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time. With or without use of hearing aids, must be able to engage in verbal communication (both in person and on phone) with team and outside parties.
