Summary: The Marketing Assistant at BEDGEAR supports the day-to-day operations of the marketing team across a wide range of functions, including eCommerce, email, paid media, social media, influencer marketing, and PR. Reporting to the Consumer Marketing Director, this role assists in content coordination, campaign execution, performance tracking, and internal documentation to ensure cohesive and timely delivery of marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and eager to grow their skills within a collaborative, fast-paced marketing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
General Marketing & Administrative Support
- Coordinate scheduling, note-taking, and follow-ups for cross-functional marketing meetings and campaign planning sessions.
- Manage file organization and version control for creative briefs, campaign assets, and marketing calendars across shared drives or project management tools.
- Assist in gathering, formatting, and organizing performance reports and analytics across key channels.
- Help prepare marketing recaps and internal presentations that summarize campaign performance, engagement metrics, and key learnings.
- Support the creation and development of pitch decks and presentation materials for internal and external use.
- Provide general administrative support including calendar management, internal communications, and project tracking across all marketing areas.
Public Relations (PR)
- Monitor, archive, and report on press coverage using tools such as Google Alerts and Muckrack.
- Maintain accurate daily media clipping reports and distribute internal recaps.
- Update and maintain media contact lists, press trackers, and PR databases.
- Assist in award submissions by researching opportunities, compiling supporting materials, and tracking deadlines.
Email Marketing
- Assist in the content preparation and asset upload process for email campaigns, including formatting copy and images in email platforms.
- Track and compile email campaign performance metrics for reporting purposes.
eCommerce
- Maintain and update product and promotional content databases to ensure web accuracy and consistency.
- Help manage the blog content calendar, ensuring alignment with the broader marketing strategy and timely delivery of posts.
Influencer Marketing
- Assist with influencer outreach coordination, including organizing contact lists, placing orders, tracking product shipments, and updating content deliverables.
- Monitor influencer content to ensure proper tagging and messaging, and compile performance recaps.
- Maintain influencer campaign trackers and assist in compiling UGC libraries.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify.
- English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
- Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office
Education/Experience/License Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in Marketing, Communications, Business, or closely related field preferred, but not required.
- 1–2 years of internship or entry-level experience in a marketing, digital media, or communications role preferred
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Shopify, or Muckrack is a plus.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
