Summary:
The Marketing Operations Project Manager is responsible for driving cross-functional alignment and execution across all global marketing initiatives. This role owns and manages the centralized Global Marketing Calendar, ensuring visibility and coordination across product launches, wholesale and DTC promotional periods, tradeshows, strategic partnership launches, key events, and evergreen campaigns.
Serving as a strategic partner to the Director - Brand Experience, Director - Consumer Marketing, and Director - Merchandising, this role ensures priorities are aligned, timelines are realistic, creative assets are consistent, and teams operate efficiently. The Marketing Operations Project Manager acts as the operational bridge between strategy and execution — proactively managing workflows, facilitating stakeholder meetings, tracking deliverables in ClickUp, and escalating roadblocks to senior leadership.
This role is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and execution-focused, with the opportunity to evolve into leading a Marketing Operations Project Management Office (PMO).
Essential Functions (included but not limited to):
Global Marketing Calendar Ownership
- Develop, maintain, and continuously optimize a centralized Global Marketing Calendar capturing:
- Product launches (domestic and international)
- Wholesale and DTC promotional periods (both domestic & international)
- Tradeshows
- Strategic partnership launches and key events
- Evergreen campaign launches
- Ensure cross-functional visibility and transparency of all initiatives across departments.
- Identify timeline conflicts, resource constraints, and capacity gaps early, and proactively drive resolution.
- Maintain structured launch timelines and milestone tracking across all key initiatives.
Cross-Functional Alignment & Communication
- Serve as the operational partner to the Director - Brand Experience, Director - Consumer Marketing, and Director - Merchandising.
- Align objectives across Brand Experience, Merchandising, Consumer Marketing, and Creative teams.
- Create and manage a structured meeting cadence across key stakeholders.
- Schedule and facilitate recurring planning, campaign, and launch alignment meetings.
- Prepare meeting agendas, document action items, and track follow-ups to completion.
- Provide clear, concise status updates to senior leadership.
Project Management & Workflow Administration
- Administer and optimize project management tools (ClickUp), dashboards, and reporting systems.
- Build and maintain standardized project templates for launches, promotions, campaigns, and events.
- Track timelines, deliverables, ownership, and dependencies across teams.
- Follow up with individual contributors to ensure deadlines are met.
- Escalate risks, bottlenecks, competing priorities, and resource constraints proactively.
- Deliver weekly or biweekly progress reports to leadership stakeholders.
Creative & Brand Consistency Enablement
- Partner with Creative team to ensure clarity around priorities, deliverables, and timelines.
- Support alignment on asset development needs across Brand Experience and DTC initiatives.
- Drive consistency in branded assets and campaign execution across all marketing channels.
- Ensure campaign readiness across digital, retail, events, and experiential touchpoints.
Process Improvement & PMO Development
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend scalable, process-driven solutions.
- Standardize launch and campaign planning processes across marketing functions.
- Document SOPs, best practices, and workflow guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of a Marketing Operations PMO structure.
- May evolve into leading a team of project managers or coordinators.

Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or cross-functional program management.
- Experience managing product launches, promotional calendars, or campaign planning.
- Proficiency with project management platforms (ClickUp preferred; Asana, Monday, or similar acceptable).
- Strong meeting facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience working within Brand Experience and DTC marketing environments preferred.
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-through capabilities.
- Experience developing dashboards and reporting structures.
- Prior people management experience or demonstrated readiness to lead a team in the future preferred.
- PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
- English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
- Successful completion of a criminal background check is required
Preferred Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required.
- Project Management certification preferred but not required.
- Experience contributing to or building a Project Management Office (PMO) structure preferred.
