About the Position:

This Sales Administrator will provide overall administrative support to our international sales team. The position will complete tasks in an organized and timely manner to ensure that key dates and deadlines are met in support of our customers.

What's Expected (including but not limited to):

Department and customer data management and maintenance:

  • Maintains and updates all customer order forms; ensures accurate pricing and assortments
  • Maintains and updates all customer databases and spreadsheets
  • Customer contact list (buyers, marketing, communication, executives, etc.)
  • Customer price lists
  • Assortments
  • Customer part numbers (for matching to BG skus)

Supports customer focused projects:

  • Uploads approved creative briefs and inputs required information into project management tool (RedBooth)
  • Monitors all initiated creative briefs in RedBooth to ensure timely completion of all initiatives
  • Notifies appropriate parties cross-functionally of any important changes/urgent status updates to active projects so that they can communicate to the field and the account:
    • Leads the gathering of any outstanding information that’s needed to complete a project
    • Aids in the dissemination of sales reporting
    • Handles the resolution of day-to-day inquiries from field team
    • Assists in additional projects/assignments as requested by management

Support account management activities:

  • Participate in account review calls
  • Review sales and order reports to identify opportunities
  • Schedule and set up business meetings
    • Coordinate the availability of all products to be shown
    • Conference room and/or showroom ready for presentation
  • Market research (competition, distributors, marketplace, consumer habits, etc)
  • Research leads and top contacts for prospective customers
  • Monitor online activities (website, social, digital marketing) for international accounts

Assist in additional projects & duties as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
  • English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking
  • Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office and aptitude for other programs/online portals
  • Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to learn and retain a working knowledge of new and existing product lines
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10% if the time

 

Education/Experience/License Requirements:

  • 2-year degree in business administration or closely related field is preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative support experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
