We are looking for a dynamic, and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator/RMA Analyst to join our QA team. You will strive for continuous improvement and understand the importance of collaboration between departments within your work.

 

The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the RMA process and be capable of making rational decisions using sound judgment. A positive, and can-do attitude is a must.

 

Essential Functions (include but not limited to):

  • Effectively time manage between completing daily inbound raw material inspections using Acceptable Quality Limits (AQL) and performing Pass or Fail testing on inbound raw materials based on AQL. 
  • Maintaining daily data entry and detailed record keeping is a necessity.    
  • Effectually manage the process of communication once AQL is deemed a pass or fail
  • Successfully Manage RMA process           

o Initial inspection of RMA

o Report RMA inspection findings and follow standard communication process

o Manage RMA inventory

o Close RMA cases

  • Comfortable with the responsibility of creating and communicating Quality Alert’s throughout the organization based on product non-conformance
  • Responsible for making sample “red button” pillows for Product Development approval
  • Assist Product Development team with quality and product creation requests

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associate Degree desired or the equivalent related experience
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Three years of experience in quality standards
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Associated Degree desired or the equivalent related experience
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
  • English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
  • Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office

Sensory Requirements: Should have working use of hearing and vision with or without the use of corrective lenses/hearing aids in order to be able to read paperwork, work on a computer screen, inspect product and frequently speak on the phone.

 

Environmental: Factory setting, large open area, exposure to heavy machinery and motorized vehicles, exposed to extreme temperatures, loud and fast paced environment, and occasional stressful situations.

 

Language Skills: Excellent communication skills-Excellent grammar, diction and syntax. English proficiency required, bi-lingual is a plus.

 

Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic. Retail math a plus.

 

Reasoning Ability: Ability to prioritize effectively, use sound judgment to make rational decisions, ability to recognize opportunities and evoke change where applicable, must be objective v. subjective, must have thorough understanding of company’s confidentiality agreement.
