Schedule: M-F 8:30am-5:30pm (1 hour lunch break); may need additional availability on occasion for special projects etc.
Salary Range: $61,750 - $108,800 
(Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)

Summary: Maintain proper weeks of supply on all sku’s to support sales demand generated based on future forecasts. Create ideal assortments & look for opportunities within each line of business. They will provide regular reporting to make sure all need-to-know parties are informed of all information related to the products within their category/categories.

Essential Functions (include but not limited to):

  • Review and develop understanding of current product assortments by retailers
  • Maintain proper weeks of supply on all sku’s and fulfillment locations reducing the number of backorders and item fulfillments per sales order
  • Work closely with Logistics and Operations to coordinate inbound shipments and control inbound freight costs by optimizing the assembly supply chain
  • Provide regular reporting including:
    • Weeks of supply (WOS)
    • Availability
    • Sales backorder
    • Inventory on-hand (OH)/ on order (OO)
    • Other miscellaneous ad hoc reports as requested
  • Develop location level demand plan on assigned categories to minimize backorders and multiple location fulfillments
  • Provide forecast to Orders Specialist to place Purchase Orders, Transfer Orders, and backflush Work Orders for assigned product category and distribution channel
  • Confirm ex-factory dates with the Vendor
  • Assist in the development and generation of reporting tools that give visibility to planning and forecasting functions
  • Partner with Director on supplying information needed for product availability

Education/Experience/License Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or
  • 3-4 years’ working experience preferred

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
  • English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
  • Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Expert in excel, project management, analysis
  • Intermediate understanding of retail math

Reasoning Ability: Must have analytical skills to be able to review data sheets and formulate conclusive findings; must be able to make rational and logical decisions; must be able to identify whom/which departments to include in decision making; must be able to prioritize effectively

Sensory Requirements: Should have working use of hearing and vision with or without the use of corrective lenses/hearing aids to be able to read paperwork, work on a computer screen for an extended period, and frequently speak on the phone.

Environmental: N/A-Indoor office environment

Language Skills: English Proficiency

Mathematical Skills: Basic Arithmetic, Algebra, retail math

Work Environment: Fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment; must be agile to adapt to frequent changed; must have intrapersonal skills and good communication as will be working with many people and departments on a regular basis. Must be able to work independently with little instruction.
