Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to lead and oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. Additionally, the Production Manager will play a pivotal role in team training and development initiatives.
Essential Functions (include but not limited to):
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and organizational goals.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, quality control, and maintenance, to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
- Enforce safety protocols and quality standards, fostering a culture of adherence to best practices.
- Train and manage production staff, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement strategies for professional development.
- Work closely with procurement to ensure the availability of raw materials and supplies needed for production.
- Address and resolve production-related issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operations.
- Support maintenance needs when applicable.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to enhance production capabilities.
- Act as a BEDGEAR brand and values ambassador to promote a positive culture within the Manufacturing team.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- 3+ years of production supervisory or management experience required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must have strong basic computer skills
Preferred Education/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards (e.g., OSHA)
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and workflow optimization
Work Environment:
Factory setting, large open area, exposure to heavy machinery and motorized vehicles, exposed to extreme temperatures, loud and fast-paced environment, and occasional stressful situations. Limited Climate Control.
