Summary:  Sales Accounts Manager are the primary liaison between accounts, sales management team and all internal departments.  Sales Accounts Managers are responsible for the overall communication, project management and execution of all sales initiatives driven by both the company and retail partners.

Essential Functions (include but not limited to):

  • Regular communication and contact with assigned Director – Marketing & Sales; assists with sales management through the creation of presentations, sales plans, and oversight of execution

o Strategic partner to Marketing & Sales Management, sales reps, and sleep coach(es) in the areas of retailer onboarding, account launch/expansion and ongoing relationship management

o May attend company tradeshows to foster relationships with existing customers and act as a support to sales team in the closing of prospects

o Serve as main point of contact for key accounts such as buyers or senior management

  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the account status report utilized by stake holdersThis report is used to streamline communication of all account related information including:

o Launch/Rollout timeline (if applicable) - communicates tasks and dates critical to customer rollout

o Account Summary- periodically updated to reflect door count, assortment, POP utilized, and any special terms

o Open projects/tasks – provides time action and accountability for all ongoing projects

o Open Orders- fulfillment/shipping status - management tool for fulfillment cycle, to monitor order status and prevent delays when possible

  • Functions as communication hub and holds accountability for the execution of all initiatives and projects for accounts among internal departments

o Holds inter/intra-departmental team meetings to establish goals and manage progress through completion and implementation

  • Analyze sales forecasts to effectively communicate inventory and production needs for the account

o Perform cross-business analysis, in order to identify key issues, trends and opportunities for existing customers

  • Collaborates with internal and external creative and merchandising departments to facilitate all visual merchandising direction

o Acts as liaison providing store design and rendering direction to creative team

o Manages POP forecast by customer

o Facilitates POP approval process for account specific needs

o Ensures brand standards are complied with, ensuring a true BEDGEAR retail experience  

  • Communicate up-sell opportunities to the customer and sales team

o Recommend additional product to maximize freight cube yield

o Recommend additional  items in the assortment to ensure all aspects of the brand are being utilized

  • Collaborates with sleep coaches to educate and develop retail sales associates; furthering our retailer relationships

o Also partners with sleep coaches and learning and development director to maintain up-to-date product knowledge for themselves

  • Partner with Marketing & Sales Management to develop and implement successful sales and retail strategies
  • Assists in additional projects/assignments as requested by management

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US

• High-school Diploma or GED

• English Proficient (reading, writing, speaking/listening, comprehension)

• Ability to travel up to 15% of time

• Must have personal vehicle and valid drivers license to run errands

Education/Experience/KSAs

  • BS in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration or another related field is highly desired
  • 5+ years’ experience of brand/product marketing and/or account management
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience is highly preferred
  • Experience within a lifestyle brand is highly preferred
  • Highly entrepreneurial, thrives in fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytic, planning, and budgeting skills
  • Must be self-disciplined, exceptional attention to detail, have strong organizational and project management skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Well-developed written, oral and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally
  • Demonstrates positive attitude, sees challenges as opportunities and translates them into actionable tasks
