Summary: The Strategic Partnerships Manager will be a key member of our growing team, responsible for research, outreach and development of relationships with new and existing brand partners, as well as overseeing and optimizing our affiliate marketing program, and driving revenue growth through affiliate channels. In this role, they will play a critical part in expanding our brand’s reach, fostering meaningful connections with our target audience, and driving business growth through strategic collaborations. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong network in the partnership space, possessing excellent communication skills, and adept at building and maintaining strong relationships.
Responsibilities / What's Expected (included, but not limited to):
- Partnership Development & Management:
- Identify Partnership Opportunities: Explore and evaluate new partnership opportunities with businesses, organizations, and like-minded brands that can enhance our market presence and create value for both parties.
- Negotiate and Formalize Agreements: Lead negotiations and secure partnerships, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with our strategic goals.
- Manage Existing Partnerships: Nurture and maintain strong relationships with current partners, ensuring ongoing collaboration and maximizing the potential of each partnership.
- Collaborative Campaigns: Plan and execute joint marketing campaigns with partners, leveraging each other's strengths to amplify reach and impact.
- Partnership Metrics: Monitor and report on partnership performance, including contribution to brand visibility, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Affiliate Program Management:
- Develop, implement, and optimize the company’s affiliate marketing strategy.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new affiliate partners to expand the program.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing affiliates, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and values.
- Monitor affiliate performance metrics, including traffic, conversions, and ROI. Generate actionable insights to improve outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports on the affiliate program's performance, highlighting successes and opportunities for growth.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align all campaigns with broader marketing efforts.
- Provide partners with the creative assets necessary to drive successful campaigns.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Negotiate contracts, commission structures, and promotional opportunities with affiliates to achieve mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Market Research:
- Stay up-to-date on affiliate marketing trends, technologies, and industry best practices to ensure program competitiveness.
- Compliance:
- Ensure affiliate activities comply with legal and regulatory standards, as well as company policies.
- Travel:
- Travel up to 15% of the year to attend events, conferences, meet with key partners and affiliates, and represent the company.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify.
- English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
- Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office
Education/Experience/License Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Strategic Partnership development or a related role.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, project management and relationship-building skills.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools and platforms.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with affiliate tracking software and CRM tools.
- Proven track record of growing affiliate programs and driving revenue.
MUST HAVE: The ideal Strategic Partnerships Manager must have excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain strong relationships with partners. They should possess a proven ability to develop and execute partnership strategies, with expertise in affiliate marketing and business development. Strong analytical skills are essential for evaluating partnership performance and identifying growth opportunities. Creativity and strategic thinking are critical to crafting innovative collaboration opportunities, while organizational skills and attention to detail ensure seamless execution of initiatives. A solid network within the partnership and affiliate space is a significant advantage.
Sensory Requirements: Should have working use of hearing and vision with or without the use of corrective lenses/hearing aids to be able to read paperwork, work on a computer screen for an extended period of time, and frequently speak on the phone.

Language Skills: English proficiency required (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension). Knowledge of an additional language(s) is a plus!
Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic and algebra
Reasoning Ability: Solid understanding of branding and marketing communications strategies and tactics; excellent planning and problem-solving skills with limited resources; ability to effectively prioritize and project manage multiple assignments at any given time. Ability to use judgment to make important decisions.
