Job Summary:
The Video Editor is responsible for producing high-impact, performance-driven video content across all brand touchpoints including digital campaigns, social media, product launches, brand storytelling, e-commerce experiences, retail environments, and internal communications. This role transforms creative concepts and raw footage into polished, compelling visual stories that align with BEDGEAR’s brand standards and business objectives. The Video Editor partners closely with the Creative Director, Designers, Marketing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver engaging content that drives awareness, conversion, and brand equity. This role requires strong technical expertise, storytelling instincts, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Essential Functions (included but not limited to):
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit high-quality video content for digital, social, paid media, e-commerce, retail displays, and internal communications.
- Apply advanced editing techniques including pacing, rhythm, and emotional storytelling to elevate content impact.
- Execute professional-level sound design including audio cleanup, mixing, and music integration.
- Perform color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.
- Optimize final deliverables to meet platform-specific requirements (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, website, paid ads, etc.).
Motion Graphics & Visual Effects
- Develop motion graphics, kinetic typography, and compositing elements using Adobe After Effects and related tools.
- Integrate visual effects that enhance storytelling while maintaining brand integrity.
- Collaborate effectively within VFX and post-production workflows when applicable.
- Explore and implement AI tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and creative output.
Collaboration & Creative Alignment
- Partner with the Creative Director, Designers, Marketing teams, and external partners to translate concepts into cohesive visual narratives.
- Work within established brand guidelines while contributing innovative ideas that elevate production value.
- Incorporate feedback constructively and refine edits to meet creative and business goals.
- Support cross-functional initiatives requiring video integration across digital, retail, and experiential platforms.
Project & Asset Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Organize, manage, and archive media assets efficiently to ensure accessibility and workflow continuity.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure proper formatting and export specifications across all deliverables.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving editing techniques.

Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Strong knowledge of motion graphics, kinetic typography, and compositing techniques.

- Strong storytelling instincts with a refined sense of pacing and emotional impact.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to receive and implement feedback effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high production quality.
- Experience with AI tools and emerging content technologies preferred.
- Familiarity with 3D software and VFX workflows is a plus.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
- English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
- Successful completion of a criminal background check is required
Preferred Education/Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in motion graphics, typography animation, and polished final delivery.
- Experience working in a brand or agency environment.
- Experience supporting performance-driven or consumer brands.
- Familiarity with digital content strategies and social platform specifications.
