Salary: $18.82 - $41.20 per hour (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)

About the Position:

 

The Office/HR Administrator is first point of contact into our Salt Lake City facility and will provide general support to all staff to ensure operations are running smoothly. Our Office/HR Administrator works to create a welcoming and safe environment for all employees, clients, and guests. Duties range from reception to supply purchasing and management, leadership support, office management, and HR administration. This is not a remote or hybrid position – position is located in Salt Lake City, UT.

 

 

What's Expected (including but not limited to):

 

Reception and Security:

  • Monitor visitor access, maintain security protocols, and ensure the reception area is welcoming and organized.

Vendor Management:

  • Onboard vendors with Accounts Payable.
  • Source vendors, obtain quotes, process purchase orders, and reconcile invoices.

Office and Supply Management:

  • Order and manage inventory for office, breakroom, department, and facility supplies.
  • Allocate costs to departments for budget development.
  • Maintain the order of common areas such as conference rooms and reception areas.

Administrative Management:

  • Responsible for all office administrative work including scanning, copying, email, faxing, filing, and mail distribution.

Human Capital and Culture:

  • Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, orientation, offboarding, and all HC&C duties.
  • Administer training and maintain documentation related to certifications and employee engagement.
  • Plan and coordinate staff lunches and various culture building events.
  • Support department managers with disciplinary action and advise as necessary.

Employee Support:

  • Answer employee questions on policy and procedure.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting departmental metrics and KPIs.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and maintain HRIS systems.

Process Improvement:

  • Recommend and implement new processes and technologies to streamline departmental functions.
  • Stay updated on industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
  • English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
  • Must be willing and able to undertake light travel as needed for basic errand/or events as necessary
  • Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office

 

Sensory Requirements: Should have working use of hearing and vision with or without the use of corrective lenses/hearing aids to be able to read paperwork, work on a computer screen for an extended period of time, and frequently speak on the phone.

 

 

Environmental: N/A - indoor office environment

 

 

Education/Experience/License Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 1-3 years' administrative experience with desire to work/experience in human resources
  • Experience working with all internal stakeholders, seniority levels and departments
  • Experience working with confidential information
  • Highly detail oriented, resourceful, and organized
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

 

Language Skills: English proficiency required (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension). Knowledge of an additional language(s) is a plus!

 

 

Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic and algebra

 

 

Reasoning Ability: Must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions. They should be able to assess situations quickly, identify potential issues, and develop effective solutions. The role requires the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
