Hours Available: M-F 8:30am-5:30pm w/hour lunch break; schedule may vary on occasion based off events/business travel

Salary Range: $71,250 - $121,600 (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)

About the Position: The Strategic Partnerships Lead will support the EVP of Strategy. In the role, you will represent BEDGEAR and develop partnerships and sponsorship opportunities with other organizations, ranging from professional sports teams and athletes to other lifestyle brands, retail opportunities, and more. Responsible for initial connection, vetting of opportunity, negotiations, contract management and project management of internal support tasks and teams, for the execution of activities associated with the partnership. You will also assume the key relationship role to ensure maximum communication to our retail partners, amplification of our existing partnerships, as well as handle all inbound partnership requests. This lead role is directly accountable for tracking, ensuring and continuously improving ROI on all activities.

What's Expected (includes but is not limited to):

  • Work with EVP of Strategy to define company’s partnership and sponsorship approach
  • Set budget and goals for ROI, including awareness, revenue and profitability
  • Create business development pipeline, both domestic and global through research and networking
  • Provide an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions
  • Prioritize and pursue opportunities
    • Oversee and actively involved in creation of all marketing materials related to securing conversations and presenting the brand to potential partners
    • Negotiate & close high-impact partnerships
      • Focused on driving brand awareness and impression growth, plus
      • Increasing sales and penetration of products with key retail partners
  • Liaison to the BEDGEAR Marketing (Brand, Event, Digital and Public Relations) and Sales teams to ensure that partnerships and activities receive necessary promotion
  • Liaison to BEDGEAR ECom / Website operations and WOW Customer Service teams as needed to ensure proper and seamless customer experience around partnerships and activities
  • Measure and report on profitability and strategic outcomes of partnerships
  • Collaborate with the product team on innovation and testing of existing and new products that are being brought to market
  • Clerical and administrative duties related to essential functions
  • Assist in additional duties/projects as requested by management

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • HS Diploma or GED and College degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
  • English proficient (reading, writing, speaking/listening, comprehension)
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook proficiency


Education/Experience/License Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, related field, or equivalent working experience
  • Proven track record of securing and managing partnerships and/or sponsorship opportunities
  • Demonstrated project management experience; experience working with various project management tools
  • Experience working with all internal stakeholders, seniority levels and departments
