Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.)

We're looking for a Social Media Manager who is passionate about creating engaging, social-first content and building meaningful connections with our audiences. In this role, you'll help grow BEDGEAR's organic social presence while showcasing our products, retail presence, innovation, company culture, and customer experiences.

What You'll Do

As our Social Media Manager, you'll lead BEDGEAR's organic social media strategy while creating engaging content that strengthens our brand and grows our online community. You'll partner closely with Creative, eCommerce & Performance Marketing, Retail Experience & Trade Marketing, Product Development, Strategic Partnerships, and International teams to develop and execute compelling social-first storytelling.

Essential Functions (included but not limited to):
Organic Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and execute BEDGEAR's organic social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
  • Own the social content calendar, publishing schedule, and platform-specific content strategy.
  • Monitor industry trends, platform updates, competitive activity, and consumer behavior to continuously evolve content strategies.
  • Ensure all content reflects BEDGEAR's brand positioning, product messaging, and business priorities.
  • Partner with Paid Media to maximize the performance of high-performing organic content.
  • Includes international social media management in collaboration with international distributors and regional marketing partners to strengthen BEDGEAR's global social presence.

Content Creation & Video Production

  • Serve as BEDGEAR's primary creator of organic social media content.
  • Capture, edit, and publish high-quality photo and video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Stories, and emerging video-first platforms.
  • Plan and execute social-first storytelling around product launches, retail merchandising, retail partner visits, sleep education, product demonstrations, company initiatives, marketing campaigns, tradeshows, and events.

Employee Generated Content & Company Culture

  • Develop and coordinate employee-generated content initiatives that highlight BEDGEAR's people and culture.
  • Encourage participation from teammates while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Identify authentic storytelling opportunities across all departments.

Community Management

  • Monitor and actively engage with followers across all social platforms.
  • Respond to comments, direct messages, and community interactions in alignment with BEDGEAR's brand voice.
  • Escalate customer service concerns through appropriate internal channels.
  • Foster meaningful engagement with customers, retailers, and brand advocates.

UGC & Creator Coordination

  • Manage BEDGEAR's UGC agency relationships, creative requests, approvals, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate creator-generated content for use across organic social channels.
  • Support influencer campaigns by managing content requests, creative assets, publishing coordination, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Partnerships Manager to execute creator campaigns.
  • Review creator content to ensure alignment with brand standards.
  • Recommend opportunities to expand BEDGEAR's UGC content library.

Analytics & KPI Ownership

  • Own agreed-upon social media performance metrics including audience growth, engagement rate, views, reach, impressions, web traffic, and content production volume.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and campaign performance reporting.
  • Analyze platform insights and audience behavior to continuously optimize content strategy.
  • Conduct ongoing testing of new content formats, posting strategies, and platform capabilities.

Travel & Event Support

  • Travel as needed to support social media content creation at tradeshows and events.
  • Flex work schedule as needed to capture evening or weekend content opportunities.

Qualifications

Required

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify.
  • English literate and proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension).
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support retail visits, industry events, product launches, and company initiatives.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing organic social media, content creation, or digital marketing for a consumer-facing brand.
  • Experience creating and editing photo and video content for social media platforms, including short-form video.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, or similar creative software.
