JOB TITLE: Copywriter/Content Coordinator
 
 
Essential Functions (include but not limited to):
 
·         Develop and maintain new content for product packaging, and product knowledge sheet copy
·         Ensure that all product/marketing descriptions match the company missions and purpose
·         Review copy development with marketing and brand management to ensure that the brand message is carefully managed and communicated
·         Assemble list of all copy inconsistencies on packaging, PK sheets and web content and ensure corrections – including bedgear product descriptions on 3rd party (retailer) websites. 
·         Update and maintain brand standards guide for brand copy
·         Write optimized web copy, product descriptions and blog posts for bedgear website
·         Create copy for marketing collateral for print and digital use such as email marketing, advertising postcards, flyers, handouts etc.
·         Write social media campaign content
·         Review/edit other materials as created by marketing team such as press releases, newsletters.
·         Consistently produce compelling, original, creative copy solutions that satisfy several brand strategies
 
Qualifications/Requirements:
·         Must be 18 years of age or older
·         HS Diploma or GED
·         Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
·         English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
·         Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office
 
Desired Skills and Experience
·         3+ years of experiences in a marketing department that specializes in product marketing as well as digital marketing
·         Has the ability to provide big picture strategic thinking, vision and insights to drive big ideas and initiatives
·         Basic statistical training and analytical acumen
·         Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
·         Passion for working in a creative and analytical environment
·         Must be organized
 
 
Sensory Requirements: Should have working use of hearing and vision with or without the use of corrective lenses/hearing aids in order to be able to read paperwork, work on a computer screen for an extended period of time, and frequently speak on the phone.

Education/Experience/License Requirements:
·      BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or related area
·      3+ years’ experience in Marketing or Communications
 
 
Language Skills:
·      English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
 
 
Mathematical Skills:
·      Basic Algebra skills
 
 
Reasoning Ability:
·      Good Communication skills
·      Must be able to multi-task
 
 
Work Environment: Job operates in a clerical office setting. Fast-paced office, highly collaborative and creative environment
